The Word of God was delivered by Pauline, taken from Romans 8:37.
Romans 8:37 But in all of these we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
The Word of God tells us that we are the ones who are more than conquerors. Why? Because there is the guaranteed Word of God. God’s Word never lies. If humans say that, we may not believe it. But if the Word of God says that we live victoriously then that is yes and amen. Only those who live victoriously will return to heaven. If we don’t win, then we don’t go back to heaven. But the condition for a victorious life is that we must believe in Lord Jesus. We must surrender our lives to Lord Jesus, He is the one who guarantees our lives. If we want to win over everything we face today, then rely on God. Don’t we rely on humans. Other people can disappoint us. If we rely on God, then God is able to do all things. He died on the cross to bear all our troubles and burdens. Trust in the Lord Jesus, He wants to give us victory. He wants to get us to heaven. Salvation comes only from Lord Jesus.
The Word of God was continued by Dewi, taken from Mark 10: 46-52.
Mark 10: 46-52
46.Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging.
47.And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
48.Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
49.So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”
50.And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus.
51.So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.”
52.Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
This Word of God tells how Lord Jesus stopped and healed a blind man, namely a street beggar whose job is only to beg by the side of the road and wait for people’s compassion to give him money. But the blind man heard Lord Jesus and His disciples at that time, so this blind man began to cry out to the name of the Lord Jesus. But what this blind man received, the people who followed the Lord Jesus with His disciples instead rebuked this blind man. Maybe at that time this blind man screamed so loudly for Jesus. But this blind man was not silent on the contrary, he was calling the name of Lord Jesus even more loudly. He did not follow the directions of those who asked him to be quiet. He increasingly put up his faith, he knew that Lord Jesus was able to heal and opened his blind eyes so he called Jesus even more until finally Lord Jesus stopped and ordered His disciples to call the blind man. Maybe we have also experienced illnesses that have no cure but let us have faith like Bartimaeus, the blind man. When he had faith and he encountered obstacles, he did not stop. He did not give up but instead strengthened his heart, shouting even more and calling the name of the Lord Jesus until finally Lord Jesus healed him. Likewise for those of us who are sick, let’s come to Lord Jesus! He never changes, He can heal us.
