The first Word of God was delivered by Lena Yong: Joy To The World
Luke 2: 8-11
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them; and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
The real joy for the world is that the Lord Jesus wanted to come to the earth to be made in the likeness of men. Christmas means Jesus wanted to come to this world. Lord Jesus, the most Holy Lord, He who created the universe, but He wanted to come for us as a Savior because of His love for us. Can you imagine if the Lord Jesus was never born on the earth? Then there would be only sin, darkness, evil, no joy and no peace. The Lord Jesus wanted to be born in a sheepfold, the most despicable place, to prove He really loves us all, He died on the cross to atone for our sins. Let us rejoice that Jesus was born for us. God also wants to use our lives to be His instruments.
The second Word of God was delivered by Ani:
Mark 5: 25-29
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,
And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse,
When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.
For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.
And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.
God healed a woman who had an issue of blood for 12 years. 12 years in our lives means the time that we need from elementary to high school. It is a very long time. We, ourselves, felt so painful even if we only caught a cold or had a headache. This woman had gone to many healers and spent a lot of money, but her situation got worse. When she heard the news that the Lord Jesus could heal, her faith arose in her heart. Because of her faith, she thought that only by touching Jesus’ clothes, she could be healed. Actually, His clothes could not heal, but it was because of her faith. Believe in the Lord Jesus, He can heal you now.
