Praise the Lord, it was truly an extraordinary work of God at the revival service “Zona Anak Tuhan” in Bekasi city, held by PMPPKN. The event began with praise led by Junita and Michele as worship leaders, singing “Lebih dari Pemenang” (“More Than a Conqueror”). The service was opened with prayer by Junita.
Next, the worship leaders introduced the meaning and vision of PMPPKN. The attendees were encouraged to join in a cheer to boost enthusiasm. The praise continued with the song “Hari Ini Kurasa Bahagia” (“Today I Feel Happy”), inviting everyone to rejoice and praise God. We sang “Tuhanlah Kekuatan dan Mazmurku” (“The Lord is My Strength and My Song”), and all the attendees rejoiced in worshiping the Lord.
The service continued with the worship song “Tak Terbatas KuasaMu, Tak Terduga CaraMu” (“Unbounded is Your Power, Your Ways are Unfathomable”). Before the sermon, a video was shown featuring a clip from the sermon by Rev. Jacob Sumbayak. Then, Pastor Pangihutan stepped forward to deliver the message from John 8:1-11, explaining that God’s plan had brought each of us to this place, even though it was raining outside. The message conveyed that sin is sin. As young people, we must guard our lives against sin because sin leads to death and destruction. We must not play with sin. Jesus came into this world to redeem us from sin. Jesus loves us, and only through His love are our sins forgiven. With Him, we can defeat the power of sin.
Romans 6:6-7 (Amplified Bible):
6 We know that our old self (our human nature without the Holy Spirit) was nailed to the cross with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin. 7 For the person who has died with Christ has been freed from the power of sin.
Praise the Lord, during the altar call, all the attendees raised their hands and stood to pray, accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior with loud voices, worshiping God sincerely with the song “Ku Mau Cinta Yesus” (“I Want to Love Jesus”).
The sermon continued with Pastor Siska, who spoke from Matthew 4:18-20, sharing that even though we are still young, God wants to use us to serve Him. Pastor Siska then challenged those who wanted to serve God sincerely to come forward. Praise the Lord, almost everyone raised their hands to become servants of God. Even those seated raised their hands.
This was followed by a healing prayer led by Pastor Victor. Nine people came forward—some for their own healing, and others standing in for their family members. A woman came with breathing problems, and after being prayed for, she felt relief and was healed.
Announcements were made by Steven, followed by a praise offering from SMU Global Persada and SMU 1 Cibitung.
The service was closed with prayer by Pastor Victor.
Praise the Lord!
