The service of PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Student and Youth Fellowship) was held again on Friday, November 20, 2020. It was a live-streaming service that was aired through Facebook (PMPPK Nasional) and Instagram (Zona Anak Tuhan). The Word of God was delivered by Rebecca and Arisma, taken from Psalm 103:1-3 and John 5:5-9.

Rebecca opened the service in prayer. She preached the Word of God from Psalm 103:1-3, “Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,”

If we remember the goodness of God since we were born to this earth, indeed God has helped us. If we are able to breathe, eat, and drink, and we have friends, it means that God has blessed us abundantly. Therefore, as the Word of God says, “And forget not all His benefits.” We cannot count the number of God’s goodness in our lives. Maybe there were times we face problems and God helped us. Maybe  God saved us from an accident and when we were sick, God healed us. How God has actually been good to us.

There is none like God. God gave His life for us.  Psalm 103:3 says, “Who forgives all your iniquities,”  It’s only Jesus who can atone us for our sins and bring us to heaven and give us eternal life. We often commit sins, but with His loving kindness, He wants to forgive us of our sins. John 3:16, For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

God longs for us to be in heaven with Him. Jesus gave His life for us and He was willing to die for sinners. Jesus died for our sins, He shed His blood for sinners like us.  Although our sins are red like crimson, but they shall be as wool (Isaiah 1:18). God longs to be close to us because He has prepared an eternal place for us. How God has been good to us. Maybe there are people who are willing to die for good people, but it’s only Jesus who was willing to die for sinners like us. He wants us to come to Him and love Him because He has given everything for us.

Rebecca prayed for those who wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. She led them in a prayer of salvation. She also prayed for those who wanted to offer up their lives to be used as the servants of God and those who wanted to renew their commitment to serve God.

The service was proceeded by Arisma. She preached the healing power in Jesus and preached the Word of God from John 5:5-9, “Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath.”

Jesus performed miracle to this man who had been sick for thirty-eight years. God also will heal us as long as we have faith in Him. Whatever our sicknesses and no matter how long we have been suffering from this sickness, have faith that God is able to heal us. Therefore, don’t worry or lose hope, but believe that God is able to heal us. Arisma prayed for those who were sick and closed the service in prayer. Praise be to God who had blessed many lives today. Amen.
