The service of PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Student and Youth Fellowship) was held again on Friday, November 30, 2020. It was a live-streaming service that was aired through Facebook and Instagram. The Word of God was delivered by Agnes Theresia and Berlin Linda, taken from Jeremiah 29:11-14a and Mark5:25-34.
The service was opened in prayer by Agnes Theresia and she preached the Word of God from Jeremiah 29:11-14a.
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, …”
God has great plans for us. What is actually a future and a hope in God? It’s a day where we will live with God. This world will end, but God has planned our live until eternity. He wants us to go to heaven so that we will meet our Heavenly Father. He has a future in store for us. Therefore, we don’t need to worry or afraid because God has awesome plans for us. The thing that we need to do is to come to Him and believe that God has great plans for us. We just need to come to Him with all of our heart. If we call upon God, He will listen to our prayers. He never rejects us if we come to Him. Our Heavenly Father loves us so much. Jesus was willing to died on the cross 2000 years ago because He loves us. Let us open up our hearts and believe in Him. Agnes Theresia led those who wanted to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour in a prayer of salvation. She also led in prayer those who wanted to offer up their lives to God to be used as His servants.
The service was proceeded by Berlin Linda. She preached the Word of God from Mark 5:25-34“Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well. ”Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes? ”But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ”And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”
This woman had been bleeding for 12 years and she had been to many physicians, but there she no better. When she heard about Jesus, she had faith in her heart. She believed that Jesus was able to heal her. She made an effort with all of her strength in order to meet Jesus. She said in her heart “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” What happened? Miracle happened. She was healed. Jesus felt there was power came out of Him. However, Jesus never rejects our faith, He is very pleased when we believe in Him. He really appreciates our faith. Therefore, don’t doubt about his love and power. Jesus Christ is the same. He loves us all. Don’t be afraid to come to Him, just believe. This is the time for you to come to the Lord. Don’t be sad and don’t lose hope. Open up your hearts and believe with all of your heart. If you are sick, lay your hand on the part of the body that is sick and have faith that Jesus will heal you. Berlin Linda prayed for those who were sick and closed the service in prayer. Praise be to God who had saved and blessed many lives today. Amen.
