There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
God has shown how much He loves us. God came down to the world, and become the same as humans. He walked around and preached the gospel, and He did miracles for us, so it will be easy to say Thank You Jesus, because His kindness.
Someone who gave his own life for his friends, now days there is no one to lay down his own life, even you are perfect, good and kind person, maybe our parents want to die for us, but not necessarily for our friends.
When we are a sinners no one wants to die for us. But Jesus died for us, when we were still sinners. This is a good things that we received as a christians.
So today give Him thankfull, because He gave His life and set us free from our sinners. Give Him thankfull, because He still gives breath to our lives.

Luke 5:12-13 NLT
In one of the villages, Jesus met a man with an advanced case of leprosy. When the man saw Jesus, he bowed with his face to the ground, begging to be healed. “Lord,” he said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
At the time, Leprosy is a curse disease. If a person has leprosy, then he must say unclean unclean. People affected by leprosy feel not confident, they will feel what’s wrong with them, they can’t do anything, they fingers may break off, and their skin turned white because of the sickness.
Not only leprosy, even other sickness like covid,cancer and lame, it will make you feel worthless.
We can see from this leprosy, even he feel worthless and feel do not deserve to be close to Jesus, but he bowed with his face to the ground to Jesus, he trust Jesus and he took an act of faith to come to Jesus.
If he followed what he wanted, if he feel not feasible, he will get nothing.
He begging to be healed, and said “Lord,” “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared.
Jesus still the same until today, by His stripes you were heal, whatever your sicknes, be it cancer, lame, covid , God is able to heal you.
