The service of PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Student and Youth Fellowship) was held again on Friday, November 27, 2020. It was a live-streaming service that was aired through Facebook and Instagram. The Word of God was delivered by Elipati Simorangkir and Togu Hasiholan, taken from John 15:12-14 and Mark 10:46-52.

The service was opened in prayer by Elipati Simorangkir and delivered the Word of God from John 15:12-14 “This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.”

The Word of God tonight commands us to love one another. Jesus did not only command us to love one another, but He has done it first. He has loved us first. We remember how Jesus died on the cross 2000 years ago. Jesus was willing to die for us so that we will not perish. He has given all that is good for us. People may disappoint us, but God never disappoints us because He loves us so much.

John 15:14, You are My friends if you do whatever I command you.”

We are not only loved, but we are precious for God. Indeed, God has been good to us. Maybe we remember about our past and we feel unworthy to come to God, but the truth is God loves us so much. He died on the cross for us and He has redeemed us. Let us come to Him and have faith that if you come to Him with all of your heart, He will come to your life. Elipati invited those who wanted to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. He led them in prayer of salvation. He also led in prayer those who wanted to offer up lives to God as His servants.

The service was proceeded by Togu. He delivered the Word from Mark 10: 46-52. He conveyed that our God is great. Today, He saved and called us to serve Him. There is another great news for us, He wants to heal us. God wants to work a miracle for us. As we know that 2000 years ago, when Jesus died on the cross, not only did He atone for our sins and transgressions, but the Word of God in Isaiah 53:5 says that by His stripes we are healed. If you are sick at the moment, come to Jesus and He will heal you.

Mark 10: 46-52 “Now they came to Jericho. As He went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.”And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?”The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.”

Bartimes cried out to God, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” He had faith in Jesus and He came to the right person. Maybe you are sick or your parents are sick, be it heart disease, diabetes, stroke, Jesus is willing to heal us. Bartimeus believed in Jesus and Jesus answered His faith. Let us have faith, just like Bartimeus and miracles will happen. Togu prayed for those who were sick and he closed the service in prayer. Praise be to God who had saved many lives today. Amen.
