“Zona Anak Tuhan” (Zone of God’s Children) Bandung – November 22, 2024

Praise the Lord, the much-awaited day arrived, and God visited the young people in Bandung.

The event was opened by the worship leader, Brother Andreas (a relation), who invited Mr. Anto from Pelita Bangsa School to open the service with prayer. The worship leader then engaged the audience with youth chants, such as:
“Young men.. Ooo rise up… ready to serve the Lord… yes, yes, when… now…”
The atmosphere was filled with excitement.

The worship continued with songs like “Rise and Proclaim the Name of Jesus,” “Now Has Come Salvation and Power,” and “Your Love Never Ends, O Lord.” The room was filled with joy as everyone sang enthusiastically, and the worship leader encouraged participants to say to their neighbors, “Yes, the Lord Jesus is good.” The chants resumed before transitioning to the song “You Are the Father Who Loves Me.”

Before the sermon, a film titled “The Power of the Blood of Jesus” was shown.

The Word of God was delivered by Rev. David Frances, based on Revelation 22:18. The message emphasized that salvation comes only through Jesus, not by our own strength but because of His love for us. Rev. David shared that Jesus will always be with us and dwell within us. The congregation was invited to sing “You Are the Father Who Loves Me” again.

Rev. David then asked, “Who wants to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior?” Praise the Lord, 150 people raised their hands to receive Jesus.

The sermon continued with Evangelist Jolinda, who encouraged attendees to greet one another, saying, “You have been saved.” Smiles and joy filled the room as they exchanged handshakes. The atmosphere became even more energetic with more chants.

The message was based on 1 Timothy 4:12, highlighting God’s beautiful plan for each person to be an example for others. Evangelist Jolinda then shared from Jeremiah 29:11, reassuring the attendees of God’s plan for peace and hope. She led the group in prayer and singing “How Grateful My Heart Is, Jesus.”

The congregation was invited to pray and declare, “Here I am, Lord. I want to be an example wherever I go as a believer.” She asked those willing to be used by God to raise their hands and step forward. Praise the Lord, 20 people came forward, and 10 more raised their hands from their seats. Their sincerity was evident as they committed themselves to serve God.

After the prayer, Evangelist Jolinda asked if anyone was unwell. One attendee, named Irfan, raised his hand and requested prayers for his older brother, who was experiencing abnormal health issues.

At the close of the service, Brother Andreas led the congregation in offering preparations, accompanied by the song “How Good You Are, Lord.” A ZAT film was shown, followed by an announcement for a follow-up session on Saturday at 10:00 AM at Pelita Bangsa School. Rev. David Frances concluded the service with prayer.
