The worship leaders, Chika and Eva (students), opened the event with joy and enthusiasm, encouraging everyone to rejoice and sing for the Lord. Attendees were invited to leave behind their school-related problems and focus on praising God. This created a joyful and lively atmosphere. Greetings were exchanged among participants, fostering warmth and camaraderie.
Before the sermon, the hymn Bapa Engkau Sungguh Baik “Father, You Are So Good” was sung with heartfelt devotion by all attendees.
The Word of God was delivered by Erik Sopacua (AC), based on Luke 15:11-32, the parable of the prodigal son. The message was received with great attention, and attendees were invited to raise their hands and accept Jesus Christ.
The sermon continued with Yohanna Ginting (AB), who shared the Word of God from Jeremiah 1:4-8, emphasizing God’s extraordinary purpose in our lives. She explained that God has a great plan for each person, and He desires to use our lives for His glory and service. As children of God, we are called to dedicate our lives to glorify and serve Him.
In response, 45 attendees stepped forward, committing themselves to serve God.
