Live Streaming PMPPKN 14 October 2020: The Lord is the Source of My Strength. PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Students and Youth Fellowship) Live Streaming took place on Wednesday, October 14, 2020 on PMPPK Nasional Facebook and Instagram Zona Anak Tuhan.
The word of God was delivered by Eva, taken from Isaiah 40: 29-31.
Isaiah 40: 29-31
29.He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30.Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall,
31.But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
The eagle actually did not fly fluttering its wings. So an eagle can fly by floating using the force of the wind. When the eagle is in a high place then it slowly flutters its wings and begins to float high. The special thing about the eagle is that it knows exactly when it should fly. So the stronger the wind or storm, the more an eagle will rise higher and higher and float higher and higher. What about us? Often the problems that come in our lives make us weak and lack the spirit to live our lives. But in contrary when any problems exist, it becomes our opportunity for us to become the same as the eagle. The more we have problems in our lives the more we fly up with God. So the wind is like the problems of our lives. In order for us not to drown or not having the passion to live life then we must wait on God because at that time we will get a new strength in God. As children of God we have Lord Jesus who gives us strength. So do not be afraid if we face any problems in life. There is Lord Jesus who is the answer for our problems.
The Word of God was continued by Esther, taken from Mark 5: 25-29.
Mark 5: 25-29
25.Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years,
26.and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse.
27.When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment.
28.For she said, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.”
29.Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.
This woman had been suffering for 12 years of bleeding and how she was struggling to recover. So that she was willing to spend all her wealth for her to recover. But she was not even healed, her situation got worse. But this woman didn’t just give up because she heard the news about Jesus who was circling the area around there. This woman did not give up but she believed in her heart that the Lord Jesus could also heal her. The miracle that happened to this woman who was 12 years of bleeding will also happen to us today. Lord Jesus also wants to heal us. Maybe our illness has been sentenced by a doctor that it won’t be cured, or some of us are suffering from Covid, don’t be afraid and never give up because God gives us a hope, which is the hope of healing. The key of this miracle is only faith. When we have faith, God immediately answers what our hearts want, which is a healing.
