A service of PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Student and Youth Fellowship)was live streamed through Facebook (PMPPK Nasional) and Instagram (Zona Anak Tuhan) on Friday, September 4, 2020. The Word of God was delivered Sister Berlin, taken from 1 John 4:8-9.

If we talk about love, it must be very beautiful.Yes, God’s love is wonderful. We must have felt love, whether the love from our parents, family, or friends.

1 John 4:8-9 (NKJV) He who does not love does not know God, for God is love. In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.

God’s love is very beautiful. Love can certainly bring us joy and peace. We surely have experienced love before. We must have ever seen beautiful blue sky, vast beautiful ocean, and we admireall of God’s work. We are fascinated by the high mountains and amazed by God’s work. If we compare ourselves with the beauty of God’s creations and the vastness of the ocean, we are very small. However, we are far more valuable in God’s eyesthan all of those creations. Therefore, Jesus was willing to come down to this earth and suffer for us.

Jesus is the Lord wholoves us, died on the cross for us, and gave his life for us. Let us not think that our lives are just ordinary lives, especially in the midst of this coronavirus pandemic. Maybe, we are confused about what to do. We have to do our schooling at homeand we are confused about what to do with our future dreams.

However, God has designed us to be very special and valuable and to live together with Him in heaven. God wants us to live with Him. That is God’s plan for us. We are never alone because our Jesus loves us very much and really cares about us more than anyone else.

If we have Jesus in us, we will always feel peace and joy that never ends. Thus, let’s open up our hearts to come to Godbecause God is able to change our lives. Nothing is impossible for God.

The preaching of the Word of God was continued by Sister Lena.

Luke 5:17-25 (NKJV) Now it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. Then behold, men brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay before Him.And when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd, they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the tiling into the midst before Jesus. When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, He answered and said to them, “Why are you reasoning in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’? But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”Immediately he rose up before them, took up what he had been lying on, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

We can see that this paralyzed man was stretched out in order to be able to see and experience the miracles of Jesus. Even though there were a lot of people gathered there, but there was faith, action, and an effort made.

Miracles happenwhen there is faith. We can see that this paralyzed man was healed because of his faith. Verse 24 says, But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins”—He said to the man who was paralyzed, “I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house.”What happened? God’s miracle was manifested as experienced by this paralyzed man. This paralyzed man could walk because of his faith andactions.
