” A True Happiness “
The Word of God was delivered by Meykel Sopacua
We are going to discuss about True Happiness. If we talk about this topic, so there is no one in this world, who doesn’t want to be happy.
All of us want to be happy, even you are now in senior high school. When we are in exam, we want to get a good score, and after that we graduate from senior school, we want to find a good university, we always need a happines in our life. All that we want to have is temporary. There is “The True Happiness”
John 1 : 12
But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God.
This is the True Happiness, when we invite Jesus to come to our life. When we let Him to lead us, that’s true happiness. Because this is the promise of God, when we trust Him as Lord and Savior we will get salvation, which brings us to eternal life. Everything that we seek and pursue in this life is temporary. When we invite Him to our life, that is true happineness.
The next word of God was continued by David.
John 5 : 1 – 9 NLT
Afterward Jesus returned to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish holy days. Inside the city, near the Sheep Gate, was the pool of Bethesda, with five covered porches. Crowds of sick people—blind, lame, or paralyzed—lay on the porches. One of the men lying there had been sick for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him and knew he had been ill for a long time, he asked him, “Would you like to get well?” “I can’t, sir,” the sick man said, “for I have no one to put me into the pool when the water bubbles up. Someone else always gets there ahead of me.” Jesus told him, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and walk!” Instantly, the man was healed! He rolled up his sleeping mat and began walking! But this miracle happened on the Sabbath,
This is very clear, the scripture said that Jesus heal the paralyzed, who had been sick for thirty-eight years. Thirty-eight years it is not short time, but it is very long time, the paralyzed still waiting. When the angels shake the water of the pool there is no one to help him to put him to the pool.
