A service of PMPPKN (Indonesian Christian Student and Youth Fellowship)was live streamed through Facebook (PMPPK Nasional) and Instagram (Zona Anak Tuhan) on Monday, September 14, 2020. The Word of God was delivered Yohana and Nita, taken from Psalm 118:1 and Matthew 9: 18-22.

Psalm 118:1 (NKJV) “Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.

God is always faithful to us. He always helps and guides us. For those of you who want to believe in Jesus and accept Him as your Lord and Savior and if you also want to be led by God every day, pray and invite Him to come into your lives as your Lord and Savior.

God also wants to use our lives to serve and love Him. Rise up and let us be zeal again to serve God. We have heard the Word of God that we should always be grateful. Therefore, whatever we are experiencing today, with the current conditions, maybe we can’t go anywhere or can’t meet our friends because of this pandemic, but today we are taught that we should always have a grateful heart.

Whatever our conditions at the moment, remember that we must continue to give thanks to God. We should always remember the kindness of God every day, so that our hearts will be full of thanksgiving. This is a very very important thing to do every day, so that we will have energy and enthusiasm to carry out our activities.  If we do not have enthusiasm and our hearts are not full of gratitude, then we will not have zeal to live our lives.

God also takes care of our needs today. Maybe some of us are sick and we feel that we have failed in our lives, but God’s Word today reminds us that God really cares for us.

Nita continue preaching the Word of God, taken from Matthew 9:18-22 (NKJV) While He spoke these things to them, behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just died, but come and lay Your hand on her and she will live.” So Jesus arose and followed him, and so did His disciples. And suddenly, a woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years came from behind and touched the hem of His garment. For she said to herself, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.” But Jesus turned around, and when He saw her He said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And the woman was made well from that hour.

We have heard this story of how Jesus healed a bleeding woman for many times. However, here we want to see the struggle of this woman who was bleeding for 12 years. Maybe some of us have been sick for years or maybe have had difficult life struggles. However, today we have to have faith in God, just like this woman. She had faith in her heart, “If only I may touch His garment, I shall be made well.”

This is such a great faith. Likewise with us, if we have the opportunity to step out or have faith like this woman, then do it right now and don’t delay for the power of God is here with us today.

Jesus turned and looked at the woman and said, “Be of good cheer, daughter; your faith has made you well. “And the woman was made well from that hour. We can see that God Himself will work through the faith that we have in our hearts. As long as we have faith in God, then He will help us with our struggles and heal our sicknesses.
